Organization & Coordination

Alongside my artistic practice, I take on coordination and management roles in both the cultural and academic fields—ranging from festival production to international academic networks in geography.

With a Master of Science in Physical Geography and professional experience in river rehabilitation and project management, I bring strong analytical skills together with practical organisational expertise.
Since 2022, I have served as External Officer for AGILE – Association of Geographic Information Laboratories in Europe, supporting the council in administration, financial management, membership coordination, and the organisation of student grants.
In 2023 I was a co-author of an article about the Dutch school system:
Educational inequality due to lack of validity: A methodological critique of the Dutch school system - published by the International Journal of Educational Research.
In the cultural field, I have held several coordinating and (co-)leading positions. Recently, I have coordinated projects such as Common Stage, Moments to Notice, and Looping Spaces. My responsibilities included writing grant proposals, managing publicity, building professional networks, and conducting project evaluation.

Office Manager - Aktion Tanz
I led the Cologne office of Aktion Tanz - the Federal Association of Dance in Education and Society. In this role, I supported the executive board and coordinated pilot projects such as Tanz geht raus, a series of diverse dance initiatives in collaboration with partner institutions. My work included membership coordination and elections, grant applications, and financial oversight.

Board Member – Dancer Initiative Cologne
As a board member of the political representation of dancers and choreographers in Cologne, I contributed to the city’s Cultural Development Plan, advocated for choreographers’ participation in the Dance Advisory Board, supported the development of a dance centre (feasibility study), and worked on public relations.

Co-Artistic Director – TANZhautnah Festival
I co-led the annual TANZhautnah Festival, a four-day dance festival featuring performances, workshops, lecture performances, political round-table discussions, and party, with a strong focus on emerging artists and early-career performers.
